Clemson, Pitt Lead 2025 Preseason All-ACC Selections

The ACC announced its 2025 Preseason All-ACC Football Team, with Clemson leading all schools by placing 11 players, including quarterback Cade Klubnik, who earned 146 of 183 votes for preseason player of the year. Pitt had three players selected—Desmond Reid, Kyle Louis, and Eli Holstein—marking a notable improvement over last year, with Reid named as both an all-purpose back and specialist, and Louis recognized as a top defender. Louisville's Isaac Brown and Chris Bell made the list, with Brown receiving three votes for player of the year after a record-setting freshman season. Representatives from Duke and NC State were also named, but no North Carolina players made the team. Pitt's three honorees each received votes for preseason player of the year, and the team was predicted to finish ninth in the league's preseason poll. In total, players from only 10 of the ACC's 17 schools were selected for the 27-member preseason team.
