Four Teenagers Indicted in Assault of Man with Disabilities
Four teenagers have been indicted for attacking Christopher 'Ducky' Anderson, a 43-year-old man with special needs, in Danvers, Massachusetts. The incident occurred on October 12 near Holten Richmond Middle School and Plains Park, where Anderson was lured into the woods and assaulted by the teens, resulting in broken ribs and other injuries. The indicted include a 15-year-old from Lawrence and two 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old from Danvers, while two additional juveniles under age 14 are also involved. Massachusetts law prohibits indicting juveniles under 14, but warrants have been issued for these individuals. The case has garnered significant community support, with police and the district attorney commending the collaboration that led to the indictments. This attack has highlighted concerns about a group of teens causing disturbances in the area.
