Netflix’s My Melody & Kuromi Premieres June 24 Featuring LE SSERAFIM OST

Netflix is set to premiere a stop-motion animated series titled "My Melody & Kuromi" on July 24, 2025, celebrating the 50th anniversary of My Melody and the 20th anniversary of Kuromi. The story centers on the rivalry between My Melody, who opens a cake shop, and Kuromi, who runs a Japanese sweets shop, culminating in a bake-off judged by pastry chef Pistachio. The series is directed by Tomoki Misato and written by Shuko Nemoto, produced by TORUKU from WIT Studio. Adding to the series' appeal, the popular K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM performs the theme song "Kawaii," produced by Gen Hoshino, with lyrics contributed by LE SSERAFIM member Huh Yun-jin. The song will be released as part of LE SSERAFIM’s fourth Japanese single album "Different" on June 24, 2025, coinciding with the series' global premiere. This collaboration highlights the fusion of K-pop and global animation culture, generating excitement among fans worldwide.
