Four Additional Suspects Arrested in Jeffersonville July Shooting

Jeffersonville police have arrested five individuals, including Zachary Jackson, in connection with a July 5 shooting that left 28-year-old William Brown wounded after he crashed his vehicle fleeing the shooter. Jackson, 22, was charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery, criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon, and possession of a stolen firearm, while four others—Christian Price, Breanna Price-Wilkerson, Kimberly Anderson, and Taryha Gilliam—face charges ranging from conspiracy to commit murder to unlawful transfer of a handgun and theft. The shooting is believed to have stemmed from a domestic-related conflict, and authorities have stated there is no ongoing threat to the community. Brown was treated at University of Louisville Hospital and is expected to survive. Police continue to investigate and encourage anyone with information to contact them. The case remains open as the community processes the arrests and charges.
