Lovable Reaches $1.8B Valuation With $200M Series A, 2.3M Users
Anton Osika, co-founder of Lovable, presented at the TechBBQ conference in Copenhagen, highlighting the company’s rapid growth in the AI-driven vibe coding sector, which enables users without coding skills to create apps and websites. Within eight months, the Swedish startup surpassed $100 million in annual recurring revenue and secured a $200 million Series A funding round, reaching a $1.8 billion valuation and becoming Europe’s fastest-growing unicorn. Investors are reportedly interested in a Series B round valuing Lovable at $4 billion, although the company has not indicated immediate plans to pursue it. Osika envisions Lovable as a comprehensive platform guiding users, particularly founders, through all stages of software product development, incorporating features such as payments, user engagement, and future business integrations. In June, Lovable launched an AI agent to assist users with file reading, debugging, web searches, image generation, and document retrieval, advancing this vision. The platform currently serves over 2.3 million active users, including 180,000 paying customers, with a pricing model designed to cover operational costs.
