Quincy Police Probe Mass Vehicle Vandalism
Quincy police are investigating the vandalism of more than 30 vehicles early Saturday morning in North Quincy, with most incident reports received around 8 a.m. Damaged cars were discovered at several locations, including Commander Shea Boulevard, Quincy Shore Drive, Hancock Street, and the area of Newbury Avenue by Oakridge Road. Many vehicles sustained deep scratches, and surveillance footage reportedly captured a suspect dressed in all black with their face covered damaging a car. Authorities are appealing to the public for information, photos, or videos and urge anyone who can assist to contact Detective Michael Eddy. The investigation remains ongoing as police work to identify the suspect and collect additional evidence. Residents are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
