Akron Man Charged After Domestic Stabbing Kills Roommate, Injures Stepfather

Antoine Pixley, a 21-year-old man from Akron, Ohio, has been charged with murder, felonious assault, and domestic violence following a deadly domestic dispute early Saturday morning. Police responded to a call at a residence on Bee Bee Circle, where Pixley had first assaulted his mother before stabbing his 22-year-old roommate, who later died from his injuries, and his 44-year-old stepfather, who was hospitalized. Pixley fled the scene in a vehicle that was later found abandoned with a knife inside on Gilchrist Road. After a thorough search involving a K9 unit, Pixley was apprehended on foot. The case remains under investigation, and authorities have requested any additional information from the public to assist with the investigation.
