Perfios acquires IHX, expands health insurance tech portfolio

Perfios, a B2B SaaS fintech firm, has acquired healthcare information exchange platform IHX to expand its technology stack into the health insurance claims ecosystem. IHX, which partners with 30,000 hospitals and over 30 insurers, processes more than 40% of all cashless health insurance claims in India, handling over 10 million transactions and $1 billion in claims annually. The acquisition aims to integrate Perfios’ data intelligence and analytics with IHX’s platform, improving claims processing speed, operational visibility, and real-time decision-making for hospitals, insurers, and patients. IHX will continue to operate independently, while Perfios plans to leverage its capabilities to address operational inefficiencies and enhance transparency in India’s fragmented healthcare system. This marks Perfios’ third acquisition in recent months, reflecting its broader ambition to become a central technology provider in the banking, financial services, and insurance sectors. Perfios also intends to develop new solutions to further enhance experiences for patients, hospitals, and insurers.
