Desperate Housewives Reboot Titled Wisteria Lane Announced

A reboot of the hit ABC series Desperate Housewives is officially in development at Onyx Collective, tentatively titled Wisteria Lane. The new series will be a reimagining rather than a direct continuation, focusing on a new group of five friends and frenemies living on the iconic Wisteria Lane, where seemingly perfect lives hide dark secrets. Natalie Chaidez, known for her work on The Flight Attendant and Heroes, is set to write and executive produce, with Kerry Washington also serving as an executive producer. Original creator Marc Cherry is not currently involved with the project, and it remains unclear whether any original cast members will return. The reboot is described as a fun, sexy, darkly comedic soap/mystery in the vein of the original. The project is still in early development, with additional details to be announced as they become available.
