19-Year-Old Man Critically Injured in Port Glasgow Hit-and-Run

A 19-year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by a dark-colored Vauxhall Insignia in a hit-and-run incident on Ardmore Road near Selkirk Road in Port Glasgow around 1 am on November 2. The police do not currently believe the incident to be targeted, noting the victim was walking home from a night out. Officers are appealing to the driver to come forward and are also seeking witnesses, encouraging those with dashcam or doorbell camera footage to contact them. The injured man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow for treatment. The area remains under investigation with road closures and a significant police presence reported.
