Midwest Drug, Firearm Arrests Span Multiple States
Recent law enforcement operations across the Midwest have led to multiple arrests for drug trafficking and illegal firearm possession. In Lincoln, Nebraska, Hector Nunez was arrested with nearly 100 fentanyl pills, marijuana, and cash in an overdue rental vehicle. Two men in Youngstown, Ohio, were indicted for possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, cocaine, and methamphetamine, with one also facing a firearm charge. Carlton Thomas of Waukegan, Illinois, was charged with multiple felonies after police seized cocaine, over five pounds of marijuana, and illegal firearms from his home. In Portage County, Ohio, deputies confiscated 70 grams of cocaine, crack cocaine, and drug manufacturing evidence, arresting a suspect. In LaPorte County, Indiana, Donyell Mayhew was arrested for dealing cocaine after fleeing a traffic stop.
