Country Singer Conner Smith Kills Pedestrian Nashville

Country music singer Conner Smith, 24, was involved in a fatal traffic incident in Nashville on June 8, when he struck 77-year-old pedestrian Dorothy Dobbins in a marked crosswalk. Police reports indicate that Smith, who was driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, failed to yield the right of way, which appears to be a contributing factor to the crash. Dobbins was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she later died.
