Evergreen High School Shooting Leaves Three Teens Critically Injured

A shooting at Evergreen High School in Jefferson County, Colorado, left at least three people, including two students, in critical condition. The incident occurred shortly after noon, prompting a large police response and lockdown of the campus, which remains an active scene as authorities continue their investigation. The victims were transported to CommonSpirit St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood for critical care and surgery. A reunification center for students and parents was established at Bergen Meadow Elementary School nearby, while neighboring Wilmot Elementary School was also placed on lockdown. The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has not yet identified the shooter or determined if multiple individuals were involved.
