2026 Jeep Compass Launch Delayed, India Excluded

Leaked images of the 2026 Jeep Compass reveal a boxier, rugged design inspired by the Jeep Avenger, featuring modern elements like sculpted LED headlights, connected tail lights, and pronounced wheel arches. The new Compass will utilize Stellantis’ STLA Medium platform and offer gasoline, hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric powertrains, with the electric model marked by an 'e' badge. Multiple trims, including a Trailhawk version with black accents and chunkier bumpers, have been shown. Interior enhancements include a larger infotainment display, rotary gear selector, dual-pane sunroof, and upgraded materials such as leather and woodgrain trim. Production for Europe begins in Italy in 2025, while North American manufacturing in Canada has been delayed due to tariff issues, pushing the launch to 2026 or 2027. Jeep has confirmed that the new Compass will not launch in India, where the current generation will continue.
