Former England Footballer Paul Gascoigne Stable After Home Collapse

Paul Gascoigne, the former England and Rangers midfielder, was found semi-conscious at his home in Poole, Dorset, and hospitalized, initially in intensive care before being transferred to an acute medical unit where he is now stable. His friend and personal assistant Steve Foster, who discovered him and took him to the hospital, confirmed Gascoigne is receiving care in the best possible place and shared a message of gratitude from Gascoigne to his friends and fans for their support. Gascoigne, regarded as one of the most naturally talented footballers of his generation, had a distinguished career playing for clubs including Newcastle, Tottenham, Lazio, Rangers, Middlesbrough, and Everton, and earned 57 caps for England, notably starring in the 1990 FIFA World Cup and Euro 96. Despite his football achievements, Gascoigne’s life has been marked by long-standing struggles with alcohol addiction and mental health challenges, which have led to numerous health complications.
