Universal Studios Opens Halloween Horror Nights Haunted Houses Orlando, Hollywood

Halloween fans have several exciting events and attractions to look forward to in 2025. Universal Studios is offering immersive haunted house experiences based on popular franchises, including a Fallout-themed post-apocalyptic setting and a Jason Voorhees house inspired by the Friday the 13th films, with events running from late August through November at both Universal Orlando and Hollywood. Spooky Empire, the largest horror convention in the U.S., will take place in Orlando featuring exclusive panels on Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights and SeaWorld’s Howl-O-Scream, along with celebrity appearances and various festivities. Additionally, Universal Studios Hollywood has begun early announcements of its haunted houses, building anticipation among fans who follow the 'Code Orange' social media phenomenon of early Halloween reveals. Meanwhile, outside the U.S., the Malta Drive-In Theatre will host a one-night-only Summer Outbreak: Haunted Night event featuring zombie films and live zombie interactions. These events underscore the growing popularity and variety of horror-themed entertainment leading into the Halloween season.
