Sullivan's Island Driver Charged with Attempted Murder After Crash Injures Three

A man identified as Justin Collin Adams, 36, was arrested after allegedly driving a car at high speed into a playground at Sunrise Presbyterian Church on Sullivan’s Island, injuring two children and an adult. Authorities say Adams intentionally targeted the victims, and after the crash, he fled the scene on foot while armed with a knife, prompting a shelter-in-place order and an extensive manhunt involving local police, the FBI, and air support. Adams was located hours later hiding in a boat behind a home and was apprehended without further incident.
