Moncler Reports 1% Revenue Growth, Profit Declines H1 2025
Moncler Group reported consolidated revenues of €1.23 billion for the first half of 2025, reflecting a 1% increase at constant exchange rates compared to the same period in 2024, though flat at current exchange rates. The Moncler brand achieved €1.04 billion in revenues, up 1%, while Stone Island's revenues slightly declined by 1%. The group's EBIT declined 13% to €224.8 million, with the EBIT margin falling to 18.3%, mainly due to a different marketing expense allocation. Net profit fell 15% to €153.5 million, impacted by macroeconomic challenges and a slowdown in tourism, particularly affecting Europe, while the Americas showed resilience with positive local consumption. CEO Remo Ruffini emphasized the need for vigilance and agility amid global uncertainties, focusing on brand strength, creativity, and product excellence. Despite these challenges, Moncler's performance in Asia rose by 4%, and the company remains confident in its strategy to navigate ongoing geopolitical and economic complexities.
