Tyler Collett Wins 2025 PGA Professional Championship, Sets Record

Tyler Collet delivered a dominant, record-breaking performance to win the 2025 PGA Professional Championship at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida, finishing 15-under par and claiming victory by 10 shots over Jesse Droemer. Collet led wire-to-wire, becoming the first player since 2001 to do so, and set a new tournament scoring mark, surpassing the previous best set in 1991. His win earned him $66,700, exemptions into six PGA TOUR events over the next year, and a spot in his fourth PGA Championship, alongside 19 other PGA professionals who advanced. Throughout the tournament, Collet maintained composure under pressure, executing a consistent game plan, and closing with a string of birdies in the final round. Five women competed in the event, with Sandra Changkija making the 54-hole cut and all five qualifying for the 2025 KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
