Man Charged Over Multiple Antisemitic Attacks Golders Green London

Ionut-Cristian Bold, 37, of no fixed address, has been charged with multiple offences following a series of antisemitic attacks in the Golders Green area of north-west London. The charges include six counts of racially or religiously aggravated criminal damage, one count of racially or religiously aggravated harassment without violence, three counts of destroying or damaging property, and one count of having an article with intent to destroy or damage property. Between September 4 and 11, Bold allegedly smeared bodily fluids on four synagogues and a private residence, and threw liquid towards a Jewish school and over a car. The Metropolitan Police described the incidents as "revolting and appalling," and local policing authorities emphasized their commitment to treating such offences seriously while supporting the Jewish community. Bold is due to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on September 15. The investigation involved close cooperation between the police and community organizations such as Shomrim North West London.
