NATO Pledges Continued Support for Ukraine Amidst Stalled Conflict

Dragone highlighted the importance of strengthening air defense, especially in response to recent Russian drone attacks on NATO countries, and mentioned the potential creation of an "Eastern Sentry" defense concept. Ukraine's Foreign Minister stressed that Ukraine's growing long-range strike capability is key to ending the conflict sooner and urged international partners to increase investments and joint projects to scale up this capability. France has quietly doubled its military aid to Ukraine in 2024, focusing on long-term support in critical areas such as artillery, long-range strike, and air defense, while also supplying armored combat vehicles, tanks, and various weaponry. Despite the substantial aid, France faces limitations due to constrained stockpiles and logistical challenges, highlighting the ongoing need for sustained support to Ukraine's defense efforts.
