Men Critically Injured in Hit-and-Runs Dauphin, Castle Donington, Whitehaven

Three separate hit-and-run incidents involving pedestrians have resulted in critical or serious injuries in different locations. In Dauphin, a 43-year-old man was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle; the 20-year-old female driver was arrested with a breath sample nearly three times the legal limit and released with charges pending. In Castle Donington, a man in his 30s sustained life-changing injuries after being hit by a black VW Golf, whose 24-year-old male driver was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody. Meanwhile, in Memphis, a man was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the street at Millbranch Road and East Raines Road; the driver fled the scene, and the victim was hospitalized in critical condition. Police in all cases are investigating and seeking witnesses to help with their inquiries.
