Reliance and Google Partner to Accelerate AI Adoption Across India

Reliance Industries Limited and Google have formed a strategic partnership to accelerate AI adoption in India, launching three major programs targeting consumers, enterprises, and national AI infrastructure under Reliance's "AI for All" vision. Eligible Jio users will receive free 18-month access to Google's AI Pro plan, including the latest Gemini 2.5 Pro model and advanced image and video generation tools, initially rolling out to young users before expanding nationwide. The collaboration also expands access to Google's Tensor Processing Units (TPUs) via Reliance Intelligence, enabling Indian enterprises to train and deploy complex AI models more efficiently. Google aims to deliver localized AI experiences tailored to India's diverse culture and language, empowering consumers, developers, and businesses. This move follows Google's broader strategy to deepen its AI footprint in emerging markets like India, competing with other AI firms such as OpenAI, which has also been enhancing its presence in the country. The partnership reflects India's ambition to become a global AI powerhouse by democratizing AI access and strengthening its digital infrastructure.
