Waukegan Man Arrested After Multi-Agency Police Chase, Crash, Two Charged

Felix Guadarrama, 31, of Waukegan, was arrested after leading multiple police agencies on a pursuit in Lake County that ended in a crash in Waukegan. Guadarrama was initially spotted driving a stolen Ford Explorer, reportedly armed with a firearm, which fled from police multiple times before being abandoned in Lake Forest. He then got into a GMC Envoy and fled from deputies who attempted a traffic stop, sideswiping two vehicles and losing a front tire during the pursuit. The chase concluded when Guadarrama's vehicle collided with a Toyota Camry, whose driver suffered minor injuries. Guadarrama and his passenger, Brianna Koch, 22, of Lake Villa, fled on foot but were quickly apprehended; Guadarrama resisted arrest and was tasered. Koch was found with 24 grams of methamphetamine and 10 grams of cocaine and faces drug charges, while Guadarrama faces multiple felony counts related to fleeing police and traffic violations.
