Oshkosh Man Arrested After Business Shooting Injures One

A 39-year-old Oshkosh man was arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of attempted first-degree intentional homicide after allegedly firing a gun into a business on North Main Street, injuring one individual. The incident occurred around 1:50 a.m. in a business occupied by several people, prompting a rapid response from Oshkosh police and the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect reportedly fled the scene on foot but was apprehended within about 25 minutes. The injured victim was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
