Woman shaken after arson attack in Londonderry

A woman was left shaken but uninjured after an arson attack at her home in the Gweebara Park area of Derry/Londonderry in the early hours of Saturday. Police say a man approached the property, poured an accelerant on the front porch and door, set it alight, and then fled on foot. The suspect was described as wearing a dark-coloured hooded top with the hood up, his face covered, and dark tracksuit bottoms. Both internal and external areas of the front door sustained damage. Authorities are treating the incident as arson with intent to endanger life and have appealed for witnesses or anyone with relevant footage to come forward.
