Rosalía Drops 'Berghain' ft. Björk, Yves Tumor

Rosalía has released "Berghain," the lead single from her fourth studio album Lux, due Nov. 7; the orchestral, operatic track features guest vocals from Björk and Yves Tumor. The Nicolás Méndez-directed video, set in Warsaw, follows an orchestra trailing Rosalía through mundane errands into surreal, forest-like fantasy sequences with animals. The song was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra under Daníel Bjarnason and is driven by a thundering choir and multilingual lyrics. Lux is presented in movements and includes contributions from Carminho, Estrella Morente, Silvia Pérez Cruz, the Escolania de Montserrat and Yahritza, with some tracks exclusive to CD and vinyl. The album is reported to contain 18 songs and is described in press materials as tracing an emotional arc of transformation and transcendence after 2022’s Motomami.
