Clemson Softball Falls 5-2 to Boston College in Series Finale

The Clemson Tigers softball team won the first two games of their series against Boston College, extending their winning streak and securing their sixth consecutive ACC series victory, with standout performances from Macey Cintron and Maddie Moore. In the opener, Cintron excelled both offensively and as a relief pitcher, while Julia Knowler contributed a two-run home run to help Clemson claim a 6-2 win. The second game saw Moore hit a pivotal three-run homer as the Tigers rallied to an 8-4 victory. However, Boston College avoided a sweep by winning the finale 5-2, powered by a three-run home run from Jordan Stephens and a complete game by pitcher Kelly Coleran. The win marked Boston College’s first triumph over a ranked team this season and saw senior Hannah Slike reach her 200th career hit milestone. Clemson recognized its seniors during the home finale and now prepares for a challenging road trip to conclude the regular season.
