DCU Teen Titans Movie Not Yet Greenlit, Script Unfinished

James Gunn has clarified the status of the Teen Titans movie within the DC Universe, confirming that the script for the film "does not exist" at this time. Ana Nogueira, initially hired to write the Teen Titans script, was shifted to focus on the Wonder Woman movie, which is currently a higher priority for DC Studios following the success of Superman. Contrary to earlier reports suggesting Nogueira had completed a draft for Teen Titans, Gunn confirmed he has never read a script for the project and that it remains unfinished. Although Teen Titans is a popular and promising DC property, the film has not been formally greenlit and will not proceed without a completed script. Gunn emphasized a vision for the DC Universe where movies and TV shows are mostly self-contained, allowing audiences to engage with individual stories independently. While the Teen Titans film remains on the back burner, Wonder Woman is expected to be released first, with no director announced for Teen Titans yet.
