Jeremy Erlich, former Global Head of Music at Spotify, has launched Alta Music Group, an independent full-service music company based in Los Angeles that operates across recorded music, music publishing, and artist management. Alta Music Group has secured global distribution through Sony's The Orchard and formed a strategic partnership with THEBLACKLABEL, founded by producer Teddy Park, known for his work with BLACKPINK. The company's first major management signing is BLACKPINK's Jennie, who recently released her debut solo album, Ruby, and will be managed in collaboration with her label OddAtelier. Erlich, who previously held executive roles at Universal Music Group and Interscope Geffen A&M, emphasized Alta's artist-first philosophy focused on long-term global success.
