Belinda Taylor Dies in Devon Skydiving Accident
Belinda Taylor, a 48-year-old mother of four and grandmother of two, died along with her instructor during a tandem skydive at Dunkeswell Airfield in Devon when both parachutes failed to open on June 13, 2025. The skydive was a gift from her partner, Scott Armstrong, who witnessed the fatal accident and is seeking answers about the tragedy. Emergency services responded promptly, but both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities, including Devon and Cornwall Police and British Skydiving, are conducting a thorough investigation, with a Board of Inquiry set to present its findings to the coroner and aviation regulators. The Civil Aviation Authority has offered condolences, and the skydiving community has been left shaken by the incident. The family has requested privacy as tributes continue to be paid to Taylor.
