East Texas High School Golfers Receive Regional Sportsmanship Awards

Several high school athletes have been recognized for their outstanding performances and leadership in golf and basketball. Luke, praised by his coach for his hard work and unselfish character both on and off the basketball court, is noted for encouraging younger kids in the community. In boys golf, Nile and Cyrus Dumser, Clark Fairbanks, Jake Warwick, Carter White, and others received accolades from their respective leagues and tournaments, with Warwick winning a state 1B championship tournament. Girls golfer Kenzie has been a consistent state championship contender and is celebrated for her leadership, positive attitude, and community involvement, also participating in her school's state champion band. Eli Falls, captain of the Bullard boys golf team, is lauded for his leadership, academic excellence, and success in First Tee and UIL State 4A Golf Tournaments. These athletes exemplify dedication, sportsmanship, and leadership in their sports and communities.
