Circle Expands Native USDC to XRPL, World Chain

Circle has launched its USDC stablecoin natively on both Ripple’s XRP Ledger (XRPL) and Sam Altman-backed World Chain following its recent IPO. The XRPL integration enables bridge-free USDC transactions for developers, businesses, and users, with XRP available as a bridge asset for decentralized exchange transfers. On World Chain, nearly two million users were upgraded from bridged to native USDC, enhancing security, liquidity, and regulatory compliance. Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol V2 supports seamless cross-blockchain transfers across both platforms. These developments expand USDC’s reach to over 22 blockchains, advance stablecoin credibility amid US regulatory discussions, and promote compliance-ready, identity-driven financial applications. The integrations are expected to foster further institutional and retail adoption of stablecoins.
