Suspect Arrested After Stealing City Truck

A suspect is in custody following an incident in Buckeye, Arizona, where he allegedly stole a city truck from a job site and crashed it into an unoccupied vehicle. The theft occurred around 10 a.m. on November 27 near Baseline Road and Central Boulevard. After the crash, the suspect attempted to flee but was detained by a city employee until police arrived. Two officers sustained minor injuries while arresting the suspect, with one requiring hospitalization. Baseline Road is closed between 1st Avenue West and 1st Avenue East as the investigation continues. The identity of the suspect has not yet been released.
