Jerry Cantrell Plans 2025 Summer US Tour With Filter

Jerry Cantrell, guitarist and vocalist for Alice in Chains, has announced a 20-date summer 2025 U.S. tour in support of his latest solo album, I Want Blood. The tour will run from August 16 in San Diego to September 14 in Kansas City, with industrial rock band Filter as the supporting act throughout. Tickets go on sale to the general public on May 22, with presales starting May 20. This tour follows Cantrell’s UK/European run and festival appearances, and comes after Alice in Chains canceled their 2025 tour due to drummer Sean Kinney's health issues, which he has since confirmed are improving. Cantrell described I Want Blood as a heavier and darker album compared to his previous solo work, highlighting its confident songwriting and performance. The full list of tour dates includes stops in major cities such as Dallas, Orlando, Cleveland, Detroit, and Minneapolis.
