England Strategic Roads Face Overnight Closures During Summer Upgrade Works

Significant roadworks and closures are underway and planned across England to improve traffic flow and infrastructure. National Highways is modifying junction 28 on the M25 near Brentwood by adding a new two-lane loop road to reduce congestion, with closures and diversions in place until late July. Hampshire County Council, in partnership with National Highways, is implementing lane closures and traffic light management on the M27 Junction 10 to support the development of Welborne Garden Village, lasting through early September 2025. Furthermore, overnight partial closures at the Beehive Roundabout in Bolton will occur for two weeks starting July 21 to carry out essential works, with efforts made to limit disruption by scheduling closures overnight.
