Lohan to Star in Hulu’s Count My Lies
Lindsay Lohan is set to star in and executive produce 'Count My Lies,' a drama series in development at Hulu based on Sophie Stava's debut novel. This will be Lohan's first lead role in a scripted TV series, where she is expected to portray Violet Lockhart, a member of a wealthy New York couple who hires a deceitful nanny. The series, helmed by former 'This Is Us' showrunners Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger, promises a suspenseful exploration of deception and family secrets. Lohan's involvement signals her career resurgence and a move towards more complex roles, distancing herself from her earlier romantic comedies. The project coincides with Lohan preparing for the release of 'Freakier Friday,' a sequel to her 2003 hit film. If greenlit, 'Count My Lies' would further establish Lohan's return to Hollywood prominence.
