Adobe Expands Firefly Mobile App With More AI Models

Adobe has launched a standalone Firefly mobile app for iOS and Android, enabling users to generate and edit images and videos using AI tools such as generative fill, generative expand, and text-to-image or video features. The app integrates Adobe's Firefly models alongside an expanded roster of third-party generative AI models, including OpenAI, Google, Runway, and Luma AI, giving creators greater flexibility. All creations sync automatically with Adobe Creative Cloud, facilitating seamless movement between mobile, web, and desktop workflows. Adobe has also enhanced Firefly Boards, its collaborative ideation platform, by adding video generation and remixing capabilities now available in public beta. Over 24 billion assets have been generated with Firefly tools, contributing to a 30% quarter-over-quarter rise in new subscribers. Content Credentials metadata is embedded in generated assets to signal the model used and address intellectual property concerns.
