Windows 11 Shared Bluetooth LE Audio Preview
Microsoft is adding shared Bluetooth audio to Windows 11 using Bluetooth LE Audio broadcast technology so a single PC can stream the same audio to two wireless headsets, speakers, or hearing aids simultaneously. The feature is rolling out in Insider Preview Build 26220.7051 (KB5067115) to Dev and Beta channel testers and appears as a "Shared audio (preview)" Quick Settings tile after installing a driver update. Initially it is limited to Copilot+ PCs (Snapdragon-based Surface models) and a small set of other machines, with Microsoft saying it will expand support to additional Surface and Samsung Galaxy Book devices. Users must have two Bluetooth LE Audio–compatible accessories (examples include Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro, Buds3/Buds3 Pro, Sony WH-1000XM6 and supported hearing aids); mixing Bluetooth and wired devices is not supported in the preview. Microsoft framed the release as an Insider preview for feedback before broader rollout. The same build also adds the Ask Copilot taskbar experience and other fixes and improvements.
