Miami-Dade Deputy Arrested in Georgia on Child Sex Abuse Charges

Carle Miranda Blum, a 51-year-old Miami-Dade Sheriff's deputy, was arrested in Roswell, Georgia, on federal charges for sexually exploiting a 17-year-old minor by producing and receiving child sexual abuse material. Federal authorities allege that Blum received explicit images and videos of the minor before traveling to Atlanta in spring 2025 to record herself engaging in sex acts with the victim.
