Keenan Allen Falls Short of Chargers Reception Record

Keenan Allen, who returned to the Chargers on a one-year $8.5 million deal after a 2024 stint with the Bears, entered Thursday Night Football needing eight catches to surpass Antonio Gates’ franchise receptions mark. In the Chargers’ 37-10 win over the Vikings, Allen caught four of five targets for 44 yards — all first downs — extending his streak of games with at least four receptions to seven but leaving him short of the record.
