Devil's Den Murder Suspect Andrew McGann Arrested Mid-Haircut Arkansas

Andrew James McGann was arrested while getting a haircut at Lupita’s Beauty Salon in Springdale, Arkansas, nearly five days after allegedly fatally stabbing Clinton David Brink and Cristen Amanda Brink at Devil’s Den State Park in front of their young daughters. Hairstylist Adriana Ruiz Avalos described McGann as looking “soulless” with sunken eyes and dry, matted hair, and said she had an eerie feeling about him from the moment he sat down. Law enforcement identified McGann after matching DNA evidence and surveillance footage placing him at the scene, as well as linking a black Kia Stinger found outside the salon to him. McGann reportedly kept his head down and was mostly silent during the arrest, which took place while a hairdressing cape was still around his neck. The Brink daughters survived the attack and were instrumental in providing descriptions that helped lead to McGann’s capture. McGann faces two counts of capital murder and is being held without bond as authorities have not disclosed a motive, stating the attack appeared random.
