The story follows an interdimensional warrior repeatedly saved by a lover in another dimension, set in a universe where mystical crystals are central to galactic survival. Kapur is making all production assets and characters open source for a nominal one-cent fee, requiring that derivative works remain open source as well. This approach aims to foster a global, collaborative 'living universe' of creative contributions. Kapur compares this democratizing model to Napster's impact on the music industry, positioning 'Warlord' as a challenge to the dominance of major studios and streaming platforms. The project showcases how AI can reduce production time and costs, signaling a transformative shift in filmmaking.
