Jade Cargill Joins Jonathan Majors in True Threat

WWE superstar Jade Cargill is making her Hollywood debut in the action thriller 'True Threat,' joining Jonathan Majors under the direction of Gerard McMurray. The film, produced by Southland Stories, CAT5, Charlamagne Tha God, and Basil Iwanyk, centers on Special Forces operative Vernon Threat (Majors) seeking justice after his son's murder by the Apollo Kids gang in Harlem. Cargill will play Meeka, a key lieutenant and main antagonist, with her role tailored to showcase her athleticism and charisma. Production is set to begin in fall 2025, with Cargill being the second confirmed cast member after Majors. Director McMurray and producers have praised Cargill’s unique talent and anticipate her making a strong impression in this highly physical role. The film also marks a comeback for Majors following his recent legal controversies.
