SalarySe Raises $11.3M Series A to Expand Credit Platform Across Indian Corporates
SalarySe, a Gurugram-based fintech startup founded in 2023, has raised $11.3 million in a Series A funding round led by Flourish Ventures, with participation from Susquehanna Asia VC (SIG), Peak XV Partners’ Surge, and Pravega Ventures. The company provides salary-linked credit and financial wellness products, including its flagship Credit-on-UPI solution, in partnership with banks such as HDFC and RBL, targeting salaried employees to reduce financial stress and improve financial management. With over 100 corporate clients currently onboard, SalarySe aims to expand its network to about 1,000 companies and grow its user base from 1.5 million to 20 million employees in the next two to three years. The funds will be used to enhance technology infrastructure, accelerate product development, integrate AI-driven personalized experiences, and strengthen partnerships with financial institutions. SalarySe reported an annual revenue run rate of approximately $1.1 million and is operating at an annualized gross merchandise value of Rs 600-700 crore, focusing on sectors like IT, healthcare, and BFSI. The startup's innovative employer-linked model and AI-enabled offerings have gained traction by addressing unmet financial needs of India's salaried workforce, helping employers improve retention and engagement.
