Texas Longhorns five-star quarterback commit Dia Bell has signed a significant NIL partnership with Gatorade, following his recognition as the 2024 Florida Gatorade Player of the Year after a standout season at American Heritage High School. Bell's NIL valuation has risen to $927,000, making him one of the top high school football earners nationally and underscoring Gatorade’s strategy to target elite young athletes in the growing NIL market. He now joins DJ Lagway as one of the few Florida players to both win the Gatorade award and sign with the brand. In addition to Gatorade, Bell has secured deals with Leaf Trading Cards and is set to compete at the Elite 11 Finals in Los Angeles. Despite heavy recruitment from top programs like LSU, Ohio State, and Alabama, Bell has reaffirmed his commitment to Texas, where he will play under coach Steve Sarkisian, known for developing NFL-caliber quarterbacks.
