Gauff Advances, Medvedev Eliminated at Canadian Open

Top seed Coco Gauff made a thrilling comeback from a set down to defeat Russian Veronika Kudermetova 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 and advance to the last 16 of the Canadian Open, despite struggling with double faults and a less effective serve. Gauff praised her mental resilience and return game in what was a tough match lasting over two and a half hours.
