Six wounded in Tampa apartment complex shooting, police investigate
Tampa police are investigating a shooting at the Crown Pointe Apartments complex that left six people injured, including one in critical condition. The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. on September 11, with the victims all being outside when they were shot. Three victims were initially found at the scene and transported to the hospital, followed by two more who reported being shot and a sixth who arrived later, all with non-life-threatening injuries except one. Authorities are actively working to identify a suspect and determine the motive behind the shooting. Residents are urged to contact Tampa Police with any information that could assist the investigation. This event follows a recent Florida appeals court ruling that struck down the state's ban on open carrying firearms, which Governor Ron DeSantis welcomed.
