VAR Controversy as Hearts Draw St Mirren
St Mirren and Hearts drew 2-2 in Paisley as Dan Nlundulu opened with a spectacular overhead kick and Lawrence Shankland and Claudio Braga equalised for Hearts. St Mirren had a second goal by Miguel Freckleton controversially ruled out by VAR, and Hearts also saw a late Pierre Landry Kabore strike disallowed. The result left Hearts unbeaten after 10 matches and six points clear at the top of the table. Hearts manager Derek McInnes praised his side's resilience, urged perspective and flagged set-piece vulnerabilities. St Mirren assistant Brian Kerr and players said they felt hard done by the VAR decisions, and supporters from both clubs reacted strongly online.
