Sam Mendes' Beatles Biopic Films Cast Features Saoirse Ronan, Aimee Lou Wood, April 2028 Release

Sony Pictures and director Sam Mendes have announced casting details for the upcoming four-film Beatles biopic, set for release in April 2028. The films will portray the lives of The Beatles, with Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, and Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr. Acclaimed actresses Saoirse Ronan, Mia McKenna-Bruce, Anna Sawai, and Aimee Lou Wood will play the significant women in the band members' lives: Linda McCartney, Maureen Starkey, Yoko Ono, and Pattie Boyd, respectively. This project marks the first time Apple Corps Ltd. and The Beatles have granted full life story and music rights for a scripted film. Each film will focus on a different band member's perspective, intertwining to tell the complete story of the band’s history. Additional casting for other important figures related to The Beatles is expected soon.
